Vintage Space Age Television by Zarach, 1960s

Vintage Space Age Television by Zarach, 1960s

£0.00

Original Mid Century TV

Zarach was a high-end chain of shops in the 1960s serving world's rulers, Hollywood megastars, pop stars, tycoons etc. They had stores in all major cities across the world and are credited with bringing perspex design to the UK at there Fulham Road store.

Transparent amethyst perspex design, showing the workings of the TV which would later inspire Jonathan Ive to design the original iMac.

On a sweeping chrome base.

Exceedingly rare, I have found a couple of the later, slightly squatter 1970s model that have sold at auction over the years but none of this earlier more elegant version. Only 100 of the later model were thought to have been made but this one would have probably been a lower production run still.

We are selling it as a decorative piece/collector’s item. There is no longer any analogue television signal so it won’t work as a TV but all the original internal electrics seem to be present and it is in untouched condition. Cosmetically it is in good vintage condition too with some minor wear and tear as you would expect but no real damage.

Measuring 47cm high (excluding aerial) x 32cm wide x 32cm deep.

Delivery is £50 to Mainland UK. If you live elsewhere please get in touch for an accurate quote. The shipping will automatically be added at check out unless you select collection.
