A well-executed, characterful and detailed study of a lion on a beautifully carved fitted stand.
Chinese in origin and dating from the latter part of the Qing Dynasty.
It is in very good vintage condition with only minor wear, there are a couple of minor nibbles/wear commensurate with age but nothing serious and it has a wonderfully warm rich patina.
Measuring 35cm long x 16cm deep x 25cm high.
