Rag & Bone has had a couple of appearances in the press recently and we thought you may like to check them out!

FRENCH COLLECTION

We were approached by Reef television, a production company that is behind ‘French collection’ a charming programme on Channel 4 presented by Mark Franks.

The show follows a number of amateur buyers who travel to France on the hunt for antiques which they then try and sell back home. We thought this sounded like good fun so we agreed - and you can watch us feature in two episodes of season 3 - episode 16 and episode 22 .

They came into our shop to film which was a real day of fun! Some of the items the sellers were pitching to us had been upcycled - but here at Rag & Bone we only trade authentically antique or vintage items - so unfortunately we couldn’t buy any of these. However we did buy a number of authentic antiques, our favourite being this red enamel sign - check it out below:

RECLAIM MAGAZINE

Reclaim is a fantastic magazine celebrating dealers, traders, interior designers and makers who choose to work with reclaimed materials, vintage and antiques. They focus on unusual items with character and backstory - completely in line with what we love here at Rag & Bone! Be sure to check out their website. 

They got in touch to ask if we have any items that would work in their ‘Palette’ feature, which focuses on a different colour scheme each issue. This issue’s feature was called ‘Got the Blues - let your home sing the blues with this versatile colour.’ Featured was our vintage typewrite as well as our antique bristol blue glass decanter, have a look below:
